Replacement/Repair of Dead Residential Outlets in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

If you have noticed that you have one or couple of dead outlets in your house, and you have eliminated the possibility that the problem is a) with the appliance that is plugged into the outlet in question, or b) that the corresponding breaker in the breaker box has been tripped, then we recommend you give us a call and let us help you. This can mean that there are deeper-rooted problems (like wiring being crossed somewhere, etc.), and for safety reasons, it is better for an electrical expert to take ownership of fixing the problem on your behalf.

Ensure other outlets are not dead

This will help you determine the scale of the electrical problem that you will be dealing with.

Check the circuit breakers

If you have a full room of outlets that are dead, the problem is probably breaker box-related.

Check the Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter

These are the specific safety outlets that are placed around sinks & water sources. This can trip just like the circuit breakers can.

I have never been more impressed by a company. The recent ice storm that left us without power for 2 full weeks. I... called many electricians and they all said the same thing, that I was weeks out on their lists. Many if not all of those companies seemed rather uninterested or and had no sense of urgency. Finally, I found out about Barnett Electrical. Thankfully I did. Jordan answered eager to help and try to get me fixed up right away. She warned me I was on a list and wasn’t sure when I would be seen but assured me that they cared and wanted to get us fixed right as soon as possible. Literally within 1.5 hours I see a box truck pull up with 2 awesome dudes names Dustin and Ryan! These guys got me quoted an amazing price and fixed up in record timing. We had a very long list of needs and wants. Sean our technician was very methodical in working through our electrical... needs and then our wants. Sean was here when he said he would be, was professional and mindful of our children. The areas were cleaned up once the work was done and attic access doors locked. I called them and had them come to Norman to restore power to an outlet. The guy got there the next day. Bill was... awesome. He came in, explained the pricing and got to work. Had it fixed in 45 minutes. Was super polite and explained everything in detail.Only problem I had with this company was that I asked for an estimate when I called after explaining my problem in detail. The person who scheduled me said the person who was sent out would assess pricing after coming out for 70$. When Bill got here, he had labeled pricing depending on the problem, which tells me the person answering calls could have given me a fairly accurate estimate. This is the only problem. (Update) Recently moved to a new neighborhood and started having frequent power surges/flickers from the power company.... We started to worry about anything we could not put a surge protector on and called Barnett Electric to see what services they may offer. We are now the proud owner of a whole home surge protector. I called Barnett Electrical approx a month ago to repair power loss to 2 rooms of my moms house. They went above and... beyond the norm and resolved the issue. Yesterday, 8/04/2020, my mom called me, after 5pm, and informed me that she had the same issue again in the same location. I contacted them and they fit her in their schedule early the next afternoon. They came out and had the issue fixed in a very short time. They stood by their work and didn't charge her for this repair. She said they were very nice and told her not to hesitate to call if it happened again. Unfortunately she didn't remember the techs names. I have never encountered such an awesome group of people.
